Her name is Betty
She lived in a town called Bedford OR. USA
She grew up in her father’s candy shop where her father made candy canes, chocolate, and any candy you can think of.
Betty is currently around the age of 95 and still going strong.
She once went to the supermarket and was asked to join the Navy by a Navy recruiter and she said yes if he would give her a nickel. And so she did.
She helped as a midwife and birthed many babies during her service for the Navy families. She talks about her experiences regularly and loved her job there.
Betty is a kind soul and the best friend EVERYONE should have.
Her best advice was to smile, every day is a new day!
